Advanced Subwoofer Technologies

Offered in 8-inch and 10-inch diameters, M6 subwoofers continue JL Audio’s tradition of building low-frequency drivers that impress, not only with their output capability, but also with the quality and balance of their sound. FEA-optimized motor and suspension designs are optimized for infinite-baffle installation (IB models), or for installation into small sealed enclosures (W models). Choose the right one for your application and it will reward you with powerful, low-distortion sub-bass that takes your marine audio experience to a higher level.

Transflective™ LED Illumination

Optional on most M6 models is JL Audio’s Transflective™ LED technology. By emitting light from multiple LEDs through our specially engineered cone material, this patent-pending breakthrough delivers a beautiful cone illumination effect, with no hot spots or reflections on the cone surface.
Choose from seven fixed lighting colors or control the color and intensity of the lighting actively using a lighting controller accessory (sold separately). Separate 12V wiring is required to power the illumination.

The incredibly flexible XDM600/6 packs a serious full-range wallop and delivers a stunning 100 watts to each of its six channels into 2 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD). The technology that makes this much power possible in such a compact chassis is JL Audio's advanced NexD™ high-speed switching design, which permits full bandwidth Class D operation with extremely low distortion and remarkable efficiency.

Suitable for car or boat installations, the XDM600/6 is built with marine-grade materials and features an exclusive, dual-mode input filter for noise-free performance in boats or cars. Automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC-offset sensing) is also onboard for easy factory system upgrades.

With the XDM600/6, you have plenty of great use options. Configure it as a six-channel satellite amplifier with 75 W x 6 @ 4 Ω, or bridge four of its channels to create a staggered power four-channel amplifier with 200 W x 2 @ 4 Ω for your front satellites and 75 W x 2 @ 4 Ω for your rear satellites. You can also drive two subwoofers with 200 W each, plus a pair of satellites with 75W x 2.

The XDM600/6 includes a 12 dB / octave filter for each channel bank, which can be configured as a low-pass or high-pass filter and offers continuously variable cutoff frequency selection from 50-500 Hz. With the addition of an optional HD-RLC or MHD-RLC (water-resistant) remote level controller (each sold separately), you have the ability to adjust the level of two, four, or all six amplifier channels directly from the driver's seat or cockpit.

Finished in a sleek, black powder-coat, all controls are protected beneath a gasketed, removable top cover for easy access.
