Description
ARC Audio A10-D4
A-Series Flat 10" Subwoofer, Dual 4-Ohm, 500W Peak, 250W RMS
The A-Series subwoofers were designed specifically for applications with limited space that require a lower profile than a standard subwoofer. Performance is designed for the street enthusiast who wants good sound quality, the ability to have some fun at higher output levels, and is still a fraction of the price of higher-end subwoofers like the SW Series. The A10 is available in both 2-ohm or 4-ohm configurations. The A-10 only requires a 3.85ā mounting depth and all models feature multi-point geometric basket/motor component resonation control which reduces losses found in a traditional subwoofer. The theme of the A-Series was meant as a tribute to the US armed forces, its dedicated members, and the technology that makes them a superior force around the world. Just like the iconic aircraft that they are named after, the A-10 features advanced technology, is hard-hitting, and is very robust. The A-10 comes in at a 500-watt peak, 250-watt RMS. Simply put, itās a great all-around sub without breaking the bank!
A-Series subwoofers use a Progressive heat pressed Poly injected Pulp cone delivering a very light weight, durable and sonically proven design maximizing accuracy of the sub across a wide spectrum and level of listening conditions.
The A-Series Surround is composed of simple UV Grade Polyether. This materials is a proven performer in subwoofer manufacturing with above standard performance ratings and exceptional resistance to UV, Humidity, and stress.
A Progressive Twisted Pile Polycotton Nomex Blend spider is used offering premium control and voice coil alignment while minimizing overall mass. This progressive material design allows the sub to execute equal linear control of the moving components at nearly any amount of level of demand being placed on it improving accuracy and overall output at all operating levels.
Imported from Japan the A-Series subwoofers exclusively use Totku Copper Voice Coil windings securely manufactured around a unique spunlaced layered Nomex former with ultra hi-temperature adhesives. These materials and adhesives combined using and stage up adhesive tempering process created the ultimate in thermal resistance and reliability under maximum design demand.
A-Series subwoofers used a proprietary tooled Cold Rolled Steel stamped steel basket design.
All gluing surfaces are cleaned and then surface laser etched and primed prior to adhesive and parts application for maximum bonding strength and maximum reliability in hi-demand and maximum stress conditions.
All Adhesives and bonding agents are dried using time/temp/humidity controlled bonding process in an environmentally controlled drying room based on the adhesive manufacturers specifications for maximum bonding strength and reliability.
