Metra 40-HD20 Reverse Antenna Adapter with Turn-On Lead for Select Factory Radios
Replacing the antenna does not require replacing the original radio in the applications supported by the Metra 40-HD20. This reverse adapter connects an aftermarket antenna to the factory radio through a female Motorola connection and a male Honda-style connection, with a blue wire for the factory radio antenna turn-on lead.

Installation Notes
Connect the blue wire to the factory radio antenna turn-on lead. Match the exact factory connector and application; the antenna and radio are supplied separately.
Configuration and Connection Notes
- For 2016 Mazda CX-5 applications other than Sport trim, the antenna connection is at the tuner in the passenger-side kick panel.
Vehicle Configuration Notes
- Acura MDX 2010–2013 and TSX 2009–2014: without factory navigation.
- Honda Civic 2009–2011 with gray or taupe dash: without factory navigation. The separate Civic DX 2006–2011 gray/taupe applications exclude Canada.
- Honda CR-V 2010–2011: without factory navigation.
- Honda Crosstour 2013–2015: manual climate controls, gunmetal or taupe dash, and without factory navigation.
- Honda Element 2005–2011: except LX trim.
