Description
Connect a replacement radio in your Kia
Metra 70-1003 Radio Wiring Harness for Select Kia Rio, Sedona, Sephia, Spectra and Sportage
Vehicle-specific plugs and color-coded leads keep the original radio connector wiring intact.
The listed Kia Rio, Sedona, Sephia, Spectra and Sportage applications require a non-amplified factory audio system.
Overview
The Metra 70-1003 connects an aftermarket receiver to the original radio wiring in the listed Kia applications. Its vehicle-side adapter plugs into the existing connector, while color-coded leads connect or solder to the new receiver harness. The harness provides radio power and a four-speaker connection without cutting the factory connector wiring.
Prepare both sides of the radio connection
The receiver-side leads must be connected or soldered to the aftermarket radio wiring. A dash kit or antenna adapter may also be required. Depending on the original equipment, retaining steering-wheel controls or other factory functions can require a separate interface.
