Metra 70-1004 Radio Replacement Wiring Harness for Select Hyundai and Kia Vehicles
A vehicle-specific wiring connection for the supported Hyundai and Kia radio applications.
Non-amplified factory audio is required for Hyundai Accent 2006–2008, Azera 2006–2008, Elantra 2007–2008 US models and Entourage 2007–2008; and Kia Optima 2007–2008, Rio/Rio5 2006–2008, Rondo 2007–2008, Sedona 2006–2008, Spectra5 2007–2009 and Sportage 2005–2010. Sportage 2009–2010 must be without factory satellite radio.
Overview
The Metra 70-1004 links a new receiver to the original radio connectors in compatible Hyundai and Kia vehicles. The vehicle-side plug preserves the factory connector wiring. Color-coded leads on the radio side are connected or soldered to the aftermarket receiver, providing its power and the specified four-speaker connection.
Account for the receiver and factory functions
Connect or solder the adapter leads to the aftermarket radio harness before making the vehicle connection. A dash kit and antenna adapter may also be needed. If you plan to retain factory controls, navigation, video or other original functions, check whether an additional interface is required.

Equipment and installation qualifications

- Hyundai Santa Fe 2008–2009 requires amplified factory audio with navigation. Veracruz 2009–2012 requires the Limited trim with amplified audio and factory navigation.
- Veracruz 2007–2008 Limited and GLS, Kia Amanti 2007–2008 and Kia Spectra 2007–2009 support amplified or non-amplified factory audio.
