MB Quart - Two Pairs Of Formula 6.5 Inch Slim Mount Coaxial Car Speakers - FKB116s

I purchased the MB Quart for the name and I understand these aren’t the original German made speakers but for the price I was skeptic but bought them anyway . The first order was the standard size 6-1/2 and 6x9’s and these didn’t have to be special as I was going to use them on on my test bench at work. They were also going to be used to jam after hours when the shop was closed . I added them to a four channel amp and a kenwood deck . The test bench also has a 10 inch sub in a custom ported enclosure . For what I paid I m pretty surprise on how they sound . The alpine amp is running 50 x 4 and running the 2 sets on the front channels and the rear bridged to the sub . over all the speaker did what I wanted . The cones are poly with a butyl surround and a steel basket . Just make sure your mounted them on a flat surface . Or the basket can tweak or bend . The 2nd set I bought was for my moms blazer . I knew from the first purchase that these would be a good bang for the buck deal for 2 sets of 6-1/2 slim speakers . They sounded decent for being slim speakers and fit in the factory location off a factory deck that was used for the source . Long story short if you looking for some decent speaker these would be the way to go . These would be better than the cheap kenwood or pioneer speakers with the paper cones that would be in the same price point . Being a installer by trade for over 25 years these set a new standard for a bang for the buck speakers .
