Engineered for high-power, subwoofer applications, the RD1500/1 monoblock amplifier is built to deliver staggering amounts of world-class bass output. Equipped with a special low impedance circuit, the RD1500/1 is capable of generating a whopping 1500 watts of output power, at either 1 or 2 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD). At the heart of this ultra-sleek and compact power plant is JL Audio's exclusive NexD Class D technology, permitting high power output with exceptional efficieny and low distortion.

For your convenience, all of the RD1500/1's controls are located on top of the amplifier, beneath a protective cover, with all connections found along one side of its chassis. Signal processing features include a 12 dB / octave low-pass filter, with continuously variable frequency selection from 50-500 Hz, and a variable bass boost EQ. Dual-range, differential-balance inputs are also onboard, capable of accepting most input voltage levels.

The RD1500/1 is also equipped with an onboard LED-clipping indicator. This all-new, innovative feature lets you easily set your amplifier's input sensitivity setting, quickly and accurately, with no special equipment needed. The RD1500/1 features a durable, black powder-coated finish and a top-mounted, dual-color LED light strip that reports the overall status and condition.

For those who seek the ultimate in compact-enclosure sub-bass fidelity, we offer this sealed ProWedge™ system, in which the superb performance capabilities of the W7AE subwoofer driver are harnessed within a compact, sealed enclosure. This system has it all: extension, impact, detail and smooth response... at any listening level.

This enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum sealed enclosure alignment for the 12W7AE-3 and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening.

This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal.

The angled-back design saves precious cargo space by allowing the enclosure to fit tightly against the back of a vehicle's rear seat.

Finish: Black, high-grade automotive carpet, with gloss-black laminated decorative front baffle trim. Three solid aluminum bars provide stylish and rugged woofer protection.

Remote Level Control for Select JL Audio Amplifiers

The HD-RLC remotely controls the Bass Level of the following JL Audio amplifiers:

HD-Series: All models

XD-Series: All models

MHD-Series: All models

M-Series: All models

When the HD-RLC is connected to the above amplifiers, it acts as an attenuator on the input gain of the amplifier and is used to adjust the overall level of the amplifier from the front of the vehicle.

The HD-RLC kit includes the rotary control with a black ABS knob, mounting hardware and one 18 ft. (5.5 m) cable.

A satin-finish aluminum knob can be purchased separately.
