Apple fans rejoice, with the release of iOS 12, iPhone users can now enjoy their favorite third-party GPS flavors on their Apple CarPlay compatible receivers! Sure, Apple Maps works for most things, but there's a lot of missing features that you can get on Google Maps or Waze. Real time traffic reporting from Waze and Google Maps lets users have more choice than ever before on an Apple product. Currently, you are unable to use Siri to control Google Maps, but you can use Google's own voice prompt by simply tapping the microphone icon on the receiver's touch screen. In Waze you currently have a bit more freedom than in Google Maps as you are able to change the icon that symbolizes you car, and you can also turn on day or night time modes at any time.
