The thinPRO12 has a mounting depth of just 3”, so it is really thin, but it does not perform like a shallow subwoofer. Our Patent Pending design allows for some big performance advantages. The dual mirrored NBR spiders and axial force transfer assembly acheive over 2-inches of peak to peak excursion.
The FEA optimized dual gap motor structure features a massive motor with double stacked strontium magnets. This maximizes flux density and control for an impressive 20mm of linear xmax. The honeycomb cone is made of a composite Nomex® and glass fiber, making it incredibly rigid and very lightweight. The 5” voice coil, available in 2 or 4 ohm, provides a powerful moving force with 750W RMS power handling.
