The Crunch CRA-1000.2 is a compact yet powerful 2-channel Class D amplifier designed to deliver efficient, stable performance in a wide range of mobile audio systems. Built with a switch mode power supply (SMPS), this amplifier maintains consistent output even when vehicle voltage fluctuates, helping protect both the amplifier and connected speakers from instability or damage.
With a maximum output of 1000 watts, the CRA-1000.2 provides flexible power for both full-range speakers and subwoofers. It delivers 2 x 500 watts at 2 ohms and 2 x 250 watts at 4 ohms, and can be bridged to produce 1000 watts at 4 ohms for higher output applications. The efficient Class D design allows for strong power delivery while keeping heat and current draw under control.
Sound quality is supported by a low-noise preamplifier circuit, SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices, and a frequency response of 10Hz to 30kHz with less than 0.002% total harmonic distortion. Adjustable 12dB per octave crossovers, along with variable high-pass and low-pass filters (40Hz–400Hz), give precise control over system tuning.
Installation is simplified with both RCA and high-level inputs, including auto turn-on for OEM integration. Durable nickel-plated terminals, screw-down connectors, and built-in protection circuitry with LED indicators ensure reliable operation and long-term durability.
