This acoustic insulation kit is completing and essential to a quality car audio installation.

From its use depends optimum acoustic rendering of speakers, amplifiers and installed accessories. Technical materials made of honeycombed damping material, an Aluminum sheet and a viscoelastic complex (Butyl).

Honeycombed damping material

Just like the acoustic foam inside a loudspeaker, the honeycombed damping material attenuates the speaker back wave and thus increases the speaker performance.

Aluminum sheet

Aluminum provides rigidity to the Butyl/foam couple. This rigidity also permits the easy laying of BAM in difficultlocations.

Viscoelastic complex

Self-adhesive, the Butyl complex absorbs the vibrations of the surface with which it’s in contact. It highly attenuates the outside noise that gets inside the car.

The ICU Universal 2-way coaxial speaker kit improves on your original-fit speaker installation. Its compact size, achieved by reducing the housing depth, and its snap-off fixings make this kit easy to fit. The new generation Universal comes with innovations and new features, including a new inverted aluminium/magnesium tweeter for even more detailed treble reproduction. A new chassis has also been designed for optimal integration and a more elegant design. All this is with just one objective: to offer easy-fit products that maintain excellent sound. On this coaxial model, the aluminium/magnesium tweeter has a 2-position +3 dB adjuster (Flat/High) for treble boost. This adjustment comes into its own when the speaker is placed low in the door. Shallow fitting: 48.4 mm.

The new generation Universal comes with its innovations and new features, including a new inverted aluminium/magnesium tweeter for even more detailed trebles. A new chassis has also been designed for optimal integration and a more elegant design. And all this is with just one objective: to offer easy-fit products that conserve excellent sound.
