The Cerwin-Vega XED6001D is a mono Class-D amplifier designed for subwoofer applications requiring efficient power delivery in a compact chassis. As part of the XED Series, this amplifier focuses on stable output, flexible integration, and space-efficient installation for modern car audio systems.
A Class-D output stage combined with a full PWM power supply allows the XED6001D to deliver consistent low-frequency power while minimizing heat generation. The aluminum chassis supports effective thermal dissipation, making the amplifier suitable for under-seat, side-panel, or factory mounting locations.
System tuning is supported through onboard variable low-pass and subsonic filters, along with adjustable bass boost to accommodate different subwoofer and enclosure designs. The amplifier accepts both RCA low-level and speaker-level inputs, allowing compatibility with factory or aftermarket head units. A remote bass control is included for convenient adjustment from the listening position. LED power and protection indicators provide clear system status feedback.
