The Cerwin-Vega XED8005D is a 5-channel Class-D amplifier designed to power a complete car audio system from a single chassis. It provides four full-range channels for speakers and a dedicated mono channel for a subwoofer, making it suitable for compact full-system installations. As part of the XED Series, this amplifier focuses on efficient power delivery, space-saving design, and flexible system integration.
A Class-D output stage combined with a full PWM power supply allows the XED8005D to deliver stable output while minimizing heat generation. The aluminum chassis supports effective thermal management and durability, allowing installation in space-limited locations such as under seats or factory mounting areas.
Selectable crossovers on the front and rear channels support high-pass or full-range operation, while the dedicated subwoofer channel includes adjustable low-pass and subsonic filtering. The amplifier supports both low-level RCA and speaker-level inputs for compatibility with factory or aftermarket head units. A wired remote bass control is included for convenient subwoofer level adjustment, and LED power and protection indicators provide clear system status feedback.
