The Cerwin-Vega XED4004D is a 4-channel full-range Class-D amplifier designed to power front and rear speakers or compact multi-speaker systems in car audio applications. As part of the XED Series, this amplifier emphasizes efficient power delivery, compact size, and flexible system configuration.
A Class-D output stage combined with a full PWM power supply allows the XED4004D to deliver consistent output while minimizing heat generation. The aluminum chassis supports effective thermal management and durability, making it suitable for under-seat or factory-location installations.
Selectable crossover modes allow each channel pair to be configured for high-pass, low-pass, or full-range operation. This flexibility supports use with coaxial speakers, component systems, or midbass drivers. The amplifier accepts both low-level RCA and high-level speaker inputs, enabling integration with factory or aftermarket head units. LED power and protection indicators provide system status visibility.
