Fusion CAB000541 12Vdc Power Drop Cable

I bought the fusion head unit for our boat last year..it's GREAT. I got the wired remote to have a small version of the head unit by the steering wheel. Here is what they DON'T tell you... IF you do NOT have an Nmea system on your boat already you need to create one to connect the remote. The remote comes with cable and connectors to connect it to the system but if you are creating a system, and your remote is not powered by the radio itself, you NEED THIS POWER DROP CABLE. Furthermore, you will also need a T- Connector as well. When you read it is easy to connect, it is, IF YOU HAVE and existing system, if not you still need this cable and a T connector to get power and have enough connections to put it all together. It is important to know this since I paid an installer to come to my dock and didn't have everything I needed for the install. I figured out the drop cable part and had that but was still short a T-connector. Still he did the install and I installed the T-connector later and it worked very well.
