Design and setup
Lightweight motor, serious output
Neodymium rings energize a 2-inch Kapton-former CCAW voice coil, while the aluminum basket keeps the assembly rigid. A non-pressed paper cone and cloth surround preserve the responsive character expected from a pro-audio mid-range.
Aluminum bullet
The black aluminum bullet helps move heat away from the motor and supports output at the upper end of the driver's range.
