Description
Use the Saturn's original radio connector
Metra 70-2002 24-Pin Radio Wiring Harness for Select Saturn 2000–2005
A 24-pin connection with power-lead placement matched to the vehicle series.
The 2004 Saturn Vue application is for the amplified factory audio configuration.
Overview
The Metra 70-2002 adapts the original radio connector in the listed Saturn applications to a replacement receiver's wiring. The 24-pin harness provides radio power and four-speaker connections, with color-coded leads to join to the new receiver. Before wiring, check the Saturn series and body style: the installation instructions identify different power-lead positions for L-Series, coupe/sedan/Vue, and wagon/Ion applications.
Identify the correct power lead
Use the applicable group in the 70-2002 instructions before making the power connection. Metra identifies pin B2 for Saturn L-Series, pin A6 for coupe/sedan/Vue and pin A4 for wagon/Ion. Match the exact vehicle and factory connector to the listed application, then join the harness leads to the receiver's wiring diagram. A dash kit, antenna adapter or separate feature-retention interface may also be needed.
