Sony XS-GSW121 12" (30 cm) MRC Honeycomb Subwoofer

Let the bass take you further with this high-power in-car subwoofer. A lightweight honeycomb diaphragm gives flexural rigidity 10 times higher than typical PP speakers for precise, powerful bass with low distortion. Turn it up loud with a rated power handling of 380 W RMS (CEA 2031 Rating Of 520W).

Cone

The XS-GSW121 uses a honeycomb design MRC cone (Mica Reinforced Cellular glass fiber composite) to reduce weight and increase rigidity, delivering deep bass response.

Spring Posts

The spring post wire terminals will accept pin connectors, single banana plugs, and bare wire up to 12 gauge. The binding posts are spaced too far apart to accept standard dual banana plugs (3/4").

Enclosures

The XS-GSW121 can work in a ported or sealed enclosure. Preferred sealed box volume is 0.84 net cubic feet. Preferred ported box volume is 1.37 net cubic feet with a aero port that is 4" internal diameter and 9-7/8" long.
