Overview
The Metra 70-1763 links an aftermarket radio to the original radio connectors in supported Nissan vehicles. The vehicle-side adapters preserve the factory connector leads, while the color-coded wires connect or solder to the replacement receiver. The harness provides the radio power and four-speaker connection specified for these applications.
Connect through the original plugs
The adapters mate with the supported factory radio connectors, so cutting those connector leads is not needed.
Check the Nissan model and year
The Altima application is 1993–1994, while the Stanza application is 1987–1992. The full vehicle list below keeps those model ranges distinct.
Check the receiver-side connections and supporting parts
Connect or solder the color-coded wires to the replacement radio harness. A dash kit or antenna adapter may be required as well. If retaining factory controls or other original functions is part of the project, determine whether a separate interface is needed.
