Overview
The Metra 70-1780 connects an aftermarket receiver to the original radio connectors in the supported Subaru Justy and Legacy applications. The adapters preserve the factory connector wiring, and the color-coded leads connect or solder to the new radio harness. The harness provides radio power and the specified four-speaker connection.
Two precise Subaru applications
Justy coverage is 1987–1994, while Legacy coverage is 1990–1994. Use the correct model range when choosing the radio wiring.
Prepare the aftermarket side
The vehicle plugs connect directly to the supported original connectors. Connect or solder the color-coded leads to the receiver harness to finish the other side.
