Prepare the GM receiver wiring for a vehicle without OnStar
Metra 70-2104 Radio Wiring Harness for Select GM 2006–2012 Without OnStar
A basic power and four-speaker adapter with a required separate accessory-power run.
Overview
The Metra 70-2104 provides a factory-mating radio connector and color-coded receiver leads for the listed Chevrolet, Pontiac and Saturn applications without OnStar. It supports the radio and four-speaker connections while preserving the original vehicle plug. Accessory power needs a separate wiring step: Metra's linked note directs the included red wire to the fuse box, using the supplied brass fuse tap.
Wire accessory power as instructed
Confirm the vehicle is one of the listed applications without OnStar. Connect the receiver-side leads according to the aftermarket-radio diagram, then follow Metra's wire-run note for the red accessory lead and included brass fuse tap. A compatible mounting kit, antenna adapter or other feature-retention parts may be needed to complete the installation.
