Match these original factory speaker positions: Dodge Dakota 2001–2004, front-door 1-inch; GMC Jimmy 1995–1997, front-dash 4x6-inch in two- and four-door models; Oldsmobile Alero 1999–2000, front-door 4x6-inch; Oldsmobile Bravada 1996–1997, front-dash 4x6-inch.
For Pontiac Grand Am, the specified original position is front-door 1-inch for 2001–2005 or front-door 4x6-inch for 1992–1995. These sizes identify the original factory speakers; check the replacement speaker’s mounting separately.
Overview
The Metra 72-4530 speaker harness pair connects compatible aftermarket speakers to the original vehicle speaker harness. The plug-in connection avoids cutting, splicing and soldering at the harness, so the factory wiring remains available for the speaker replacement. Two harnesses are included, each carrying the audio signal to its connected speaker.
