What this part adds to the installation

• Designed for 6.5-inch to 6.75-inch aftermarket speakers in compatible Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles.
• Intended for vehicles equipped with the premium audio system described by Metra.
• Factory-location mounting avoids drilling new holes for the adapter plates.
• Breakaway tabs allow the plate layout to be configured for the applicable installation.
• Two adapter plates are supplied for a pair of replacement-speaker positions.

Verify the Tesla's audio equipment

Confirm both the vehicle year and premium audio equipment before purchase. Check the chosen speaker location, flange and basket clearance against the original mount. Metra does not publish a plate-depth measurement or a model-specific position breakdown here.
