Stereo installation kit designed to fit any standard 4" tall aftermarket radio with an ISO mount provision or ISO Single-DIN, 2” tall, radio provision with pocket (88-00-9004 sold separately). Can be used in non-amplified or analog/digital amplified models. Includes Axxess® interface and harness to retain the factory settings. Retains OnStar® with adjustable volume, if equipped. Retains OEM Bluetooth® connectivity if equipped. Retains balance and fade (excluding digitally amplified models). Parts included to cover models with or without factory navigation. Modifications to the factory dash are required. This dash kit makes radio replacement easier and includes the necessary Axxess® data interface needed to retain the factory information and settings. Modifications to the factory dash are required to use this dash kit, and instructions are included. Match the exact vehicle, factory equipment and radio format before installation. Radio, wiring and antenna connections must be selected for the vehicle.
Product Details and Requirements
- This stereo installation kit has been engineered to help you install either a 2" tall (Single-DIN) or a 4" tall (Double-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit makes radio replacement easier and includes the necessary Axxess® data interface needed to retain the factory information and settings. A pocket installed below the 2" radio to fill the extra space in the radio opening is included, which can be used for storage. The pocket is not needed when installing a 4" tall radio. The dash kit is painted silver to match the original look and feel of the vehicle's dashboard. Modifications to the factory dash are required to use this dash kit, and instructions are included. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn't offer, but it requires this dash kit and interface to fit and work properly.
