Engineering & Construction
The Carbon Matrix Composite™ cone provides a balance of rigidity and low mass, improving efficiency while maintaining structural integrity under load. A 1.5-inch (38mm) Black Coat™ OFC copper voice coil enhances thermal stability and reduces resistance, supporting consistent performance at higher power levels.
The die-cast aluminum basket adds strength while minimizing resonance, and Vortex Flow Venting™ improves airflow across the motor structure to dissipate heat effectively. A ribbed Santoprene® surround allows for controlled excursion while maintaining durability in all-weather conditions.
Installation & Fitment
This speaker is designed for standard 6x9" applications with a mounting depth of 3.9 inches (99 mm). The cutout requirement measures 5.7 inches (145 mm) by 8.5 inches (216 mm), making it compatible with a wide range of installations.
