Description
Rockford Fosgate PMX-6BB 2-Zone Hide-Away Marine Digital Media Receiver
Keep the receiver out of sight while controlling two listening zones through a compatible marine display or wired controller.
The PMX-6BB is a hide-away marine digital media receiver with a single source and two audio zones. Built-in NMEA 2000 connectivity supports control through a compatible multi-function display, while PMX-8DH and PMX-1R controllers provide additional control options. Independent zone adjustment and subwoofer level control help tailor sound around the boat.
Two zones from one source
Set different listening levels for two areas of your boat without changing the selected source. Seven-band EQ, Punch EQ and high-pass/low-pass crossover settings provide audio adjustment, while independent subwoofer level control adjusts bass output.
A hidden hub for marine audio
Install the black box away from the helm and connect it to a compatible NMEA 2000 multi-function display or separately sold wired controller. The system supports a PMX-8DH display head and up to three compatible wired remotes within a total 100-foot wired distance.
Bluetooth and USB playback
Bluetooth 5.0 supports wireless playback and AVRCP v1.6 control. USB 2.0 accepts compatible media up to 32GB, with a maximum of 255 folders and 999 songs. USB output is rated at 500mA.
Built-in amplification and preouts
The internal four-channel amplifier is rated at 25 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms. Zone 1 provides left/right and dual subwoofer RCA outputs; Zone 2 provides a left/right RCA pair. Maximum RCA output is 4V.
Radio and source options
AM/FM and Weather Band tuners complement Bluetooth, USB and rear RCA auxiliary input. SiriusXM reception requires a separate SXV300 Connect Tuner and subscription. Android compatibility is through Bluetooth.
