Description
MOSCONI PRO 1|10 EVO Class-D Mono Power Amplifier – Up to 3,000W RMS @ 1Ω
The MOSCONI PRO 1|10 EVO is a high-performance mono power amplifier engineered for powerful, precisely controlled car audio systems. Delivering up to 3,000 watts RMS at 1 ohm, its efficient Class-D architecture combines high power density with low heat generation and a compact footprint.
Overview
High Power Density with Precise Control
Designed for high-performance car audio systems, the PRO 1|10 EVO supplies substantial mono output while maintaining precise control over connected speakers. Output ranges from 900 watts RMS at 4 ohms to 3,000 watts RMS at 1 ohm.
Its combination of efficient Class-D technology and optimized signal architecture makes the amplifier suitable for subwoofer and high-power midwoofer applications.
Performance
Up to 3,000 Watts RMS
- 1 x 900 watts RMS at 4 ohms.
- 1 x 1,600 watts RMS at 2 ohms.
- 1 x 3,000 watts RMS at 1 ohm.
- High damping factor greater than 1,000.
- 120 dB signal-to-noise ratio.
- Total harmonic distortion below 0.006%.
Technical Highlights
Engineered for High-Performance Audio Systems
Signal Architecture
Separate Signal and Power Paths
The PRO 1|10 EVO internally separates its audio signal path from its power supply. While the power supply handles high currents and dynamic load changes, the audio signal path is isolated from these influences.
This separation extends to the physical layout through clearly defined signal routing and separate ground domains. The architecture is designed to reduce the impact of power-supply current peaks, load-induced feedback into the supply rails, and electromagnetic interference within the amplifier.
PCB Construction
4-Layer PCB with 70 µm Copper
The amplifier uses a 4-layer printed circuit board with 70 µm copper, designed to minimize electrical losses within its high-power architecture.
- 4-layer PCB construction.
- 70 µm copper for minimal losses.
- Clearly defined internal signal routing.
- Separate ground domains for signal and power paths.
Signal Adjustment
Precise DIP-Switch Configuration
Signal adjustment is handled through DIP switches rather than conventional potentiometers. This provides consistent, repeatable settings without relying on mechanical wear parts.
DIP-switch adjustments can be made in 0.25-volt increments within the stated 1–8.75V adjustment range. The technical specifications separately list an input sensitivity range of 0.25–8V.
DirectDSP
Direct Connection for DSP-Based Systems
The integrated DirectDSP input is designed for direct connection to external DSP systems. Signal processing inside the amplifier is eliminated in DirectDSP operation, allowing the audio signal to remain unchanged through the amplifier's input stage.
The crossover specification is listed as DDSP mode only.
Power Supply
Stable Output Under Real-World Conditions
A microprocessor-controlled power supply is designed to maintain stable amplifier output during voltage fluctuations in the vehicle. The specified operating voltage range is 9–16 volts.
Thermal Management
Temperature-Controlled Cooling
Internal monitoring tracks temperature and operating status and actively controls the amplifier's cooling fan. Combined with the efficiency of its Class-D design, this supports high output while limiting unnecessary heat generation.
